Give your agents a real computer. Ours in the cloud, or your own.

Bring your Claude Code and Codex. Miko runs them on a machine you choose: an always-on machine of your own in Miko Cloud, or your own Linux server, VPS or PC. Close your laptop and they keep working. On your own Mac, the Mac app runs them too.

With Miko Starter and Miko Cloud

How it works.

  1. Choose where they run

Setting up asks Where should your agents run? Pick a server of your own, or a Miko Cloud machine we run for you.

  2. Connect yours with one command

Press Get a code and run the install command on your server. Then check that your server and the page show the same three words.

  3. Close your laptop

Your agents keep working on the machine. The agents on every machine share one inbox, and you answer from your phone.

A Miko Cloud machine.

Miko Cloud

A machine of your own, always on.

Every customer gets an isolated virtual machine of their own, run by us. Agents, dev servers and databases keep running with your laptop closed.

  • A real computer, not a locked sandbox: full Linux with root, any language, internet, packages, long-running processes, a disk that stays and private Preview.
  • Cloud machines never sleep. There's no idle timer while work runs and no hour meter.
  • Miko Cloud runs in North America at launch. Typing feels instant thanks to local echo, responses travel about 100 ms further from Europe, and an EU region is coming.

Miko Connect

Your own computers, on every plan.

Connect your own Linux server, VPS or PC with one command, on Starter and Cloud alike. Miko sets no cap on how many, and on your own computers you run as many agents as they can handle.

  • It needs Ubuntu 24.04 or 26.04, or Debian 12 or 13, on x86_64 with AVX2 or arm64, with at least 2 GB of memory and 3 GB of free disk. A VM or a server, not a container.
  • The install command checks the server, asks for sudo once and shows the changes it's about to make before it asks Continue? [Y/n].
  • Agents run as a separate user that can never log in, and your other home folders are hidden from them.
  • Miko updates itself when no agent is working, and rolls back by itself if the new version fails.

Starter and Cloud

The hardware under your agents.

Every plan has every feature; only the machine differs. Every machine we run uses 4th Gen AMD EPYC™ (Zen 4) processors or newer, and Miko Cloud comes in three sizes.

  • Miko Starter: a 4 GB cloud machine with a 10 GB disk. It runs a lead + 2 agents, rests when there's nothing to do and wakes when an agent starts.
  • Memory, guaranteed: 16, 32 or 64 GB of DDR5 ECC, never oversold.
  • CPU: up to 8, 16 or 24 vCPU, using spare CPU on the server when it's free.
  • Disk, guaranteed: 50, 100 or 200 GB of NVMe, mirrored and encrypted, with daily encrypted backups kept somewhere else.
  • Network: up to 1, 2 or 4 Gbit/s, shared, fair use.
  • Memory encryption: AMD SEV‑SNP on every Cloud machine from its first boot, with a key that never leaves the chip, and an end‑to‑end encrypted connection, so our gateway can't read your terminals.
  • Agents, as a rough guide: ~10–15 building or 30+ waiting on Claude at 16 GB, ~20–30 or 60+ at 32 GB, ~40–60 or 120+ at 64 GB.

Miko for Mac

Your own Mac.

Miko for Mac runs your agents on your own Mac. They keep working while your Mac is awake.

  • Quitting Miko leaves your terminals running in its background runtime, and reopening Miko reconnects to them.
  • Every account signs in fresh, in a private profile of its own, and the token stays on your Mac.
  • Emergency stop halts every runtime at once.
  • Apple silicon is recommended.

FAQ

Questions about your machines.

More in the docs and the full FAQ.

Does my server need open ports?

No. With Miko Connect, your server connects out to Miko over HTTPS, and nothing needs to come in.

What happens if my machine goes offline or restarts?

With Miko Starter and Miko Cloud, a machine that's on reconnects by itself and its agents keep their work. After a restart, they pause until you press Resume, then pick up the same conversation.

Do my sign-ins move between machines?

No. With Miko Starter and Miko Cloud, an account signs in once on each machine, through the provider's own login, and its sign-in stays there. Sign in on… on the account card adds another machine.

Can I use my ChatGPT plan on a Miko Cloud machine?

Yes. On a Miko Cloud machine you sign in with ChatGPT Plus or Pro through the provider's own login, and your sign-in stays on that machine. An OpenAI key works there too.

How do I remove Miko from my server?

With Miko Connect, run sudo miko-host uninstall on the server. It keeps the agents' files; add --purge --delete-user-data to remove those too, after you type the machine's name.
