Tell Miko the goal. It runs the team.
Switch to Miko mode in the Mac app and say what you're working on. Miko plans it and hands the pieces to Codex and Claude Code agents on your accounts, each on its own card with live status. For bigger goals, a project run researches, plans and reviews every step.

How it works.
Start Miko
Choose Miko in the title bar. In its settings, pick a Codex account, model, reasoning and speed, then press Start Miko.
Say what you're working on
Talk to Miko about the whole project. It splits the work and hands each piece to a Codex or Claude Code terminal on your accounts.
Watch the team on cards
Every piece gets a card below the conversation, with its account and a status such as Queued, Working, Needs an answer or Done. Open a card to see that terminal.
Reviewed before it counts
In a project run, workers report back with evidence, and Miko reviews each step before accepting it. Live terminal shows the conversation's own terminal at any time.
What are we working on?
Miko for Mac
Hand work from one agent to the next.
Open a finished reply in Needs you and choose Hand off… to send it to an idle terminal in the same workspace, to Continue, Review or Unblock the work.
- Nothing is sent until you press Send, so you stay in the loop.
- A review comes back to Needs you, linked to the terminal it reviewed.
- In Miko mode, Miko messages the workers it supervises.
- Each reply is the agent's own report. Open its terminal for the full conversation and checks.
Starter and Cloud
The lead, on a machine of your own.
With Miko Starter and Miko Cloud, your agents keep working as a team, in our cloud or on your own server. Miko's lead hands out the work, Needs you and Done show what needs you, and you answer from your phone.
- Starter's cloud machine runs a lead + 2 agents. On your own computers, you run as many as they can handle.
- Add each account with a name, such as Personal or Work, and sign in through the provider's own login. Each one shows how it pays: your subscription, or pay per use.
- A running agent never moves to another account. At Codex's limit it waits, then carries on in the same conversation after the reset; at Claude's limit, Miko shows when it resets.
- How many agents work at once depends on your machine and on the usage limits of your AI plans.
Roles & starting briefs
Give each new terminal a role and its first task as it starts. Available for Codex and Claude terminals.
Miko for Mac
A full team. One click.
Pick a workspace, set a count per account or load a saved team, then start the whole batch at once. Every account boots together, and each row shows its real stage and time.
- Save team keeps the account counts on this Mac. It can also remember the workspace, models, roles and starting briefs.
- Spawn still checks sign-in, usage and capacity before anything starts, and an account that needs to sign in again waits for you.
- If an account in a saved team is gone, Miko refuses the team rather than starting it smaller.
- You can carry on in the background while startup runs.
Can I use Claude Code and Codex together?
Yes. Add your Codex and Claude accounts, each signed in through the provider's own login in its own private profile, and Miko mode hands pieces of the same goal to Codex and Claude Code terminals across them. Miko itself runs on a Codex account you pick in its settings.
How big can my team be?
It depends on the machine and on the usage limits of your AI plans. With Miko Starter, the cloud machine runs a lead + 2 agents. Miko Cloud machines have room for many agents, and on your own computers you run as many as they can handle. The plans page has a rough guide per size.
Does Miko move an agent to another account at a limit?
Never. A running agent keeps its account. With Miko Starter and Miko Cloud, a Codex agent at its limit shows Waiting for Codex limit, and about a minute after the reset Miko types “continue” in the same conversation; you can turn that off. At Claude's limit, Miko shows when it resets and types nothing.
Can I stop the whole team at once?
Yes. Emergency stop halts every runtime and writes a lock; press Unlock execution to carry on. Pause project holds queued tasks while running work and your own terminals continue. Codex and Claude Code terminals start with full access and no approval prompts, so point Miko at projects you trust.
Where does Miko's lead run?
With Miko Starter and Miko Cloud, Miko's lead hands out the work in our cloud or on your own server, and your agents keep working when you close your laptop. In the Mac app, the lead is Miko mode.
