How it works.
Your agent starts the site
When an agent starts a website on its machine, such as a Vite or Next.js dev server, Open preview appears in that agent's header. On a phone it's a globe icon.
Open it in a tab
One click on Open preview and the site opens in a new tab, on your phone or your computer.
Watch it change
Edits show as your agent makes them, so the page keeps up with the work. Tested with Vite and Next.js.
It closes by itself
A preview closes after 30 minutes without use. Sign out, remove the device or remove the machine, and it closes within 1 second.
Only you can open it.
A preview is for you alone. It opens only on devices you've approved, and a copied address doesn't open in another browser.
- A new device joins only with your passkey, your recovery key, or approval from a device you already use.
- Previews are encrypted on the way and pass through Miko's servers without being stored. Unlike your terminals, they aren't end‑to‑end encrypted.
A real computer, no ports to open.
Your agents work on a real computer, not a locked sandbox. The sites they build run right there, and you see them in Miko without opening a port.
- On Miko Cloud your machine is always on, so dev servers and databases keep running with your laptop closed.
- Your machine connects out to Miko over HTTPS. Nothing needs to come in.
Every site your agents run, in one list.
When your agents run more than one website, pick one in Preview what your agents build and press Open. It opens in a new tab of its own.
- On a computer, the agent's Details list its websites under Website.
- A machine card shows how many websites run on it. Open it to see them all.
Look from your phone, too.
Away from your desk while an agent builds? Tap the globe icon in its header and the site opens on your phone, in a new tab. Its questions land in Needs you, so you can look at the work, answer and let it carry on.
- Lost your phone? Remove it from another device, and its previews close within 1 second.
Who can open a preview?
Only you, on devices you've approved. A copied address doesn't open in another browser, and when you sign out, your previews close within 1 second.
What can I preview?
Websites your agents start on their machine, such as a Vite or Next.js dev server. The machine needs to be up to date. You can have up to 8 previews per machine and 16 per account.
Which plans include Preview?
Every plan, Starter included, since every plan has every feature. Past the monthly traffic your plan includes, previews keep working, just slower, and you get a notification at 80 %.
What if nothing opens?
Allow pop-ups for Miko and try again. If it says “Nothing is running there now”, the website stopped: ask your agent to start it again. If it says there are too many previews on that machine, close one and try again.
Is Preview the same as result previews in the Mac app?
No. Result previews in the Mac app are reply cards in Needs you: an agent's finished reply, ready to read and hand on. Preview opens a website your agent started on its machine.
Can I use Preview to host my site?
No. Preview is for you, to see your agents' work while they build, and it opens only on your approved devices. It isn't public hosting.
