Work on a schedule. The answer waits in your Inbox.
Routines let your machine do a task at the time you set, with your own Claude account in one of your projects, or remind you of something. On a Miko Cloud plan's machine, which never sleeps, or your own server that stays on, that's even while you sleep. The answer waits in your Inbox, and on your phone if you choose.

With Miko Starter and Miko Cloud
How it works.
Coming soonPick when
Open Routines and press New routine, or start from an example such as “Every morning at 8: summarise my PRs”. Set the time, then how often: daily, every weekday, on some days, every month, every 1 to 12 hours, or once.
Pick what
Choose which Claude account to ask and in which project, then write what it should do, in your own words. Or choose Remind me and write the reminder.
Pick where it tells you
Under Tell me, choose in the Inbox and on my phone, or just in the Inbox. Press Save routine, and the sheet shows when it runs next.
Your machine does the work
At that time, your machine runs the task in the project. The reply lands in your Inbox, marked “From a routine”, ready when you are.
What it needs
On your machine, at the time you set.
Coming soonA routine runs on one of your machines, in a project there. A Miko Cloud plan's machine never sleeps, and your own server works as long as it's on, so there a routine runs even while you sleep, and the answer is waiting when you wake.
- For a task, it needs a project on the machine. It also needs a Claude account signed in on that machine, and the machine on and up to date.
- Routines run with Claude, on your own account. Miko doesn't sell AI usage; your provider bills you.
- Not settled yet: whether routines can run on a Claude Pro or Max plan, or need an API key billed per use. This page will say which once it's settled.
More choices
You decide how it behaves.
Coming soonGive each routine a name, and choose ahead of time what it does when it needs you, when the machine was off, or during your quiet hours.
- Choose Ask before each step or Fewer questions. When Claude asks before it does things, you get a notification.
- If the machine was off at that time: Run once when it's back or Skip that run.
- During your quiet hours, 22:00 to 07:00 to start with: Run, and notify quietly or Wait until they end.
- Notification settings have their own Routines switch.
On a routine
Every run leaves a line.
Coming soonEvery run gets a line that says how it went, so you can see what happened while you were away.
- Press Run now, Pause or Resume. The ⋯ menu has Edit, See all runs and Remove.
- Runs show lines such as Done, Missed when the machine was off, or Skipped when the last run was still going.
- A routine never overlaps itself and never switches account: at the account's usage limit, the run stops and says so.
- History keeps the last 50 runs, for up to 90 days.
Notes
Notes, to-dos and Canvas.
Coming soonThe Notes tab keeps notes and to-dos, and only your devices can read them.
- Use Canvas for school? Pick the example “Every weekday at 7: check Canvas for news and deadlines”. The sheet adds your Canvas access key, calendar feed and Canvas address, then the routine.
- Miko never asks for your Canvas password.
- Export your data gives you one file with your routines and notes, and no keys or passwords.
Which plans include Routines?
Every plan. Miko Starter and Miko Cloud have every feature and differ only in machine power, and Routines are coming soon to both.
Do routines run while I sleep?
On a Miko Cloud plan, yes: its machine never sleeps. On your own server, as long as it stays on. A routine needs its machine on; if it was off at that time, the routine runs once when it's back or skips that run, as you chose.
Can routines run on my Claude Pro or Max plan?
That isn't settled yet. Routines run with a Claude account signed in on your machine. Whether that can be a Pro or Max plan, or needs an API key billed per use, is still open. This page will say which once it's settled.
Can routines use Codex?
Routines run with Claude, on a Claude account signed in on your machine.
How often can a routine run?
At most once an hour. It can run every hour up to every 12 hours between two times you set, or daily, every weekday, on some days, every month or once. A machine runs up to 2 routines at once and holds up to 32, and an account up to 100.
